The R-FF library is a set of effects designed for use with the TorqueTuner. The effects were designed to emulate the reed mouth interaction system’s force response when blowing into a single reeds mouthpiece.
Haptic Models
The pressure and airflow responses of wind instrument mouthpieces were chosen as the equations as they are the defining interaction modalities of the mouthpiece when blowing into it, they are dependent on the amount of airflow, lip pressure and articulation the user subjects the mouthpiece/reed to. The pressure model is what the user will feel and input into the system. The airflow model is the amplitude response of the instrument when being subjected to the input pressure.
