Undergraduate Student (alumni)
Biography:
I have spent many hours now trying to learn about real time processing in order to create digital audio effects for guitar. I first started interfacing external hardware with PureData, using an Arduino board. Then I created externals, in PureData, for my final MUMT 402 and MUMT 307 projects. I was able to implement my first audio effects and synthesis: wah-wah, distortion and clavinet. This year, I ported the idea over an ARM platform to perform computation outside the predefined structure of PureData. To consult the project page go to theĀ ARM-based audio processing page
